Nusa Penida is one of three islands located in the southeast of Bali, and is the largest one, the other two islands are Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan.

It is the paradise on the earth, it is known as the one of the world class diving sites in Indonesia located in Klungkung Regency.

In this island, you will have opportunity to enjoy magnificent pristine beach and some conservation places protecting plants, birds, and also turtle.

Diving in Bali meaning you will have opportunity to watch the large pelagics, like Manta Ray at some locations and Mola Mola apart from other magnificent underwater life. Sometime you may also see the whale-shark, if you are lucky.

This beautiful island has also become an unofficial bird sanctuary for endangered Balinese and Indonesian bird species, including the critically endangered Bali Starling (Leucopsar rothschildi).

The Friends of the National Park Foundation (FNPF) has introduced the near-extinct Bali Starling program in this island since 2004.

Due to a lack of natural fresh water, not so much grown or produced on the island, and even some basic foodstuffs are delivered by boat from the mainland of Bali. Therefore, the price here is higher than in Bali.
