Nusa Dua is an area in southern Bali, Indonesia. It is home for beautiful tropical sandy and clean beaches, luxury resorts and international golf course.

It is a dedicated coastal area, and was designed exclusively as ‘all-inclusive’ type of tourist destination.

This exclusive area is known as the Indonesian Tourism Development Centre or ITDC, and was previously known as Bali Tourism Development Centre or BTDC).

The beaches here are calm and relatively safe for swimming.

Nusa Dua Transport

Perfect for relaxing. Close to the Airport. Close enough to Seminyak and Jimbaran to get a taxi there for food or things to do some days. A great location as a base to explore the island.

You will have to go through security checkpoints before you enter.

How to get there

Nusa dua is pretty close to the airport, it takes only 20 drive. You can get a taxi from the official airport stand at the airport when you arrive, this taxi costs Rp. 115,000 to Nusa Dua. Normally Nusa Dua hotels also provide the airport transfer but make sure to arrange it in advance when you are making a booking.

If you’re coming from another area in Bali, you can take a metered taxi, online taxi (grab, uber, gocar), or a private driver if you want to stop off along the way.

How to get around

The best way to get around Nusa Dua is walking. Otherwise, Bluebird taxi’s are the way to go to get a little further.

If you want to explore Nusa Dua and other part of Bali, like exploring Uluwatu and Bukit Peninsula beaches and other places, for the whole day it is best to rent a private car with English speaking driver. The private car with English speak driver in Bali normally costs Rp. 500,000 for 8 to 10 hours.
